‍STARBLASTERS is about a generation raised to believe in opportunity, only to come of age in a post-recession America where building a life better than your parents feels beyond reach. Our group of townies on the Jersey Shore have spent the ten years since high school working summers at the local run-down theme park, where nightly escapades atop the ferris wheel help numb their struggles. But with the park’s closure looming, these five friends must face those struggles head on, or face a life dependent on their parents, chained to a dead-end job, losing their ability to dream.
